About the site

LPQE.COM is the public website of Lean Process and Quality Engineering (LPQE), an independent consortium of consultants, engineers, technical leaders, and industry professionals working in manufacturing, reliability, maintenance, quality, process improvement, and related fields.

Much of the network's discussion and technical exchange occurs through private communication among members. The public website serves as LPQE's technical resource library and central point of contact.

Technical library

The LPQE research archive collects and summarizes published case studies, technical papers, industrial applications, and other material relevant to TPM, World Class Manufacturing, Lean Six Sigma, reliability, industrial engineering, quality, and manufacturing improvement.

Research entries are written to help readers quickly understand the application, methods, and reported findings. Links are provided to original sources whenever available so readers can review the underlying work directly.

Technical information should be evaluated in the context of the equipment, process, organization, applicable standards, and conditions in which it will be used.

Using and citing LPQE material

Linking to public LPQE pages is welcome. Short quotations and references to LPQE's original summaries may be used with clear attribution and a link to the relevant page.

Original LPQE text, organization, graphics, page design, and other site-created material remain protected to the extent provided by applicable law. Papers, reports, trademarks, photographs, and other third-party material remain the property of their respective authors, publishers, organizations, or rights holders.

Substantial republication of original LPQE material, use of LPQE branding in a way that suggests authorization, or commercial redistribution should be discussed with LPQE in advance.

Outside research and organizations

LPQE links to academic publications, technical reports, professional organizations, companies, and other external resources when they add useful context to the subject being discussed.

External websites maintain their own content, availability, policies, and intellectual property. A reference or link does not create an ownership, agency, or organizational relationship between LPQE and the linked party.

Keeping the site useful

Manufacturing methods, standards, organizations, source locations, and research links change over time. LPQE may revise, expand, correct, reorganize, or archive public material as the technical library develops.

If a source link has moved, a research summary appears incorrect, or additional published evidence would materially improve an entry, LPQE welcomes the correction or reference.
